The Loving Heart Of Vampira

It is with a heavy heart today that I am sharing the news of the passing of a dear friend. Maila Nurmi (a.k.a Vampira) passed away earlier this week in her sleep at her Hollywood home. She was 85 years old.

I was extremely fortunate to be a part of her life in the last few years, and we had some really amazing times together. Maila was a huge animal lover. Her dog and cat always came first in her life. In her passing, we are asking for anyone who wishes to pay their respects to do so with a donation to Much Love Animal Rescue in Maila's name.

Piggy D.'s debut solo album "The Evacuation Plan" is now available for digital download at two popular internet retailers. Fans can purchase the record including artwork at DigStation for $9.99 or individual tracks (99 cents each) using the SnoCap box on the official myspace.

Physical copies are also in stock at CD Baby for $10.99.

The Evacuation Plan

After almost 2 years in the making, the debut solo album The Evacuation Plan has been released! You can only get it here at PiggyD.com. This first pressing on Black Victory Records is strcitly limited to 1000 copies. The first 200 copies sold will be signed by Piggy and include an 18x24 poster. Get your copy at the official store.

The album features Piggy D. (lead vocals, guitar & bass), Tommy Clufetos on drums and guest vocals by Calico Cooper. The Evacuation Plan was produced by David Spreng & Piggy D.
